Plymouth Church Staff
Barbara Kossett, Handbell Choir Director
My husband Al and I moved to Paso Robles from the San Francisco Bay area in September 1994. We became members of Plymouth In December and were immediately approached by the Nominating Committee to serve on the Diacontate. I served for two years on the Diaconate, followed by three years on the Board of Trustees, and two years as Council Moderator.
We have two children, a son, a daughter, and two granddaughters.
I have been ringing handbells since 1978. In addition to ringing in the adult choir, I also formed and directed a Beginning Bell Choir at First Presbyterian Church in Newark, Ca. In addition to ringing in full choirs, I have also rung solo, duets, and in various small ensemble groups. I have been ringing with Plymouth's Handbell Choir for many years and have been director since March 2003. At the present time, as well as directing Plymouth's Bell Choir, I am also a member of Joyful Noise Bell Choir at Atascadero United Methodist Church, and occasionally ring with Bel Canto Ringers at San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church.
