MISSIONS The Board of Local and World Ministries presently consists of six enthusiastic members who are fulfill their responsibilities with more than the minimum outlined in the constitution of the church.  We support the traditional mission outreach programs: Tools for Hope on Fathers' Day and Blankets for Hope on Mothers' Day and serve meals to the Homeless in San Luis Obispo on a quarterly basis.  We hope to increase our support of the Homeless Housing Project, both in the People's Kitchen and the Motel Voucher program and funding a new facility for North County.    Our main fund raiser this year will be the return of an International Luncheon in October where we hope to raise $1,000 to support an El Porvenir water or reforestation project in Nicaragua, and other worthy foreign aid programs.  The special offerings of U.C.C: One Great Hour of Sharing, The Christmas Fund, Neighbors in Need and Strengthen the Church will have our concern, as will the Christian education program in Plymouth Church.  The Board is dedicated to being of service to our church, our community and our world.
