OFFICERS AND BOARDS
The Moderator and Assistant Moderator are elected by the congregation at the Annual Meeting to serve for one year and may not serve more than two consecutive years as Moderator or Assistant Moderator. The Moderator is the lay head of the Church and presides at the Annual Meeting of the Church and at any called meeting of the Church. The Moderator is also the chairperson of the Church Council; the Assistant Moderator is the vice-chairperson.
The Clerk is elected at the Annual Meeting for a term of one year and may be re-elected at each Annual Meeting. The Clerk keeps written records of the Church's Annual, special and Council meetings, communications, reports and minutes of Board meetings. The Clerk is also responsible for keeping the membership records of the church and for issuing letters of transfer when directed.
The Treasurer is elected at the Annual Meeting for a term of one year and may be re-elected at each Annual Meeting. The Treasurer makes disbursements, maintains auditable financial records of account, maintains bank accounts, makes financial reports at Council meetings and provides an audited annual financial report at the Annual Meeting.
Currently, there are four boards at Plymouth Congregational Church in Paso Robles. They are: Trustees, Christian Education, Diaconate and Local & World Ministries.
