Stewardship:
Plan and implement a Christian Enlistment Program. Conduct stewardship education through-out the year.
Finance:
Prepare and submit a balanced annual budget to the Church Council for ratification prior to the Annual Meeting.
Long Range Planning:
Anticipate the physical and financial needs of the Church in the time frame of more than five years in the future.
Endowments:
Provide for and administer the Endowments Fund in accordance with Appendix A .
Memorials:
Maintain the Memorials Fund. Establish standards of fitness and appropriateness of memorials, and represent the Church in the selection of all memorials.
Property:
Provide for insurance against losses due to man-made and natural causes (e.g. Fire, theft, storm damage, liability etc.) Provide for the normal maintenance and care of the buildings, furnishings and equipment. Provide for the employment and compensation of persons who are paid for their services to the Church. Recommend to the church Council programs for major building alterations of additions. Enter into agreements to buy, sell, mortgage, lease of transfer real property when approved by the Congregation in accordance with article VII (B) (3) (b). Supervise the activities of the custodian.
